Kelly Clarkson is an American singer and songwriter who has become the nation's favorite when she won the American Idol title in the first season of the show. The victory not only propelled her to stardom and acclaim, but it also earned her a multi-album recording contract with RCA Records 19 Recordings and 'S Records. From her first appearance, she released numerous albums. From those, three reached number one on the US Billboard 200. The others were close to the top spot. They consider her to be one of the greatest success American Idol artists. In order to achieve success she played around with various music styles and experimented on themes. For her uniqueness and vocal talent, she has received praise from the public as well as numerous prizes. Most notably she has won Grammy Awards three times. Grammy Award three times. Music isn't the only thing she is involved in. Her appearances in television and film. She also wrote the kids' book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and is involved with a number of charities.
