Meagan Good's maternal grandmother Tyra was a teenager when she worked in Panorama City as a manager and her father Leondis Leon Good, a policeman with the LAPD. She was raised with her three siblings at home in Canyon Country in California and began her acting career when she was just four years old. Her acting journey began as an actress in television shows such as Doogie Howser Amen, M.D. and Doogie Howser Amen. In the year she turned 13years old, her first appearance in a film Friday occurred. The actress played Vanessa Scott in the sitcom My Wife and Kids in 2003. She was in D.E.B.S (2004) the comedy action movie. The film earned her nomination for Best Actress by the Black Movie Awards in 2005. Following this, she appeared in various films like Cookout Venom Waist Deep and The Love Guru. When she was active in 2012 she was also appearing on T.V. The roles she played in films include Mya (in the Think Like a Man, with a host of actors) and her character, Ms. Stevens (in Dysfunctional Friends). Killmer attended Baylor University Waco Texas. There she received a B.F.A. Degree in performing arts which she received in 2010. She started her acting career in 2010, when she appeared in the web-series Simon Fuller's"If I Can Dream. Kara Killmer's career on screen began in the year 2010 when she appeared on the pilot episode Simon Fuller's Hulu TV series If I Can Dream. The show was centered around a group who began living at the posh location of Hollywood California.
