Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson is an American actress, director, and producer. She is most well-known for playing Tara Maclay from the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson also directed her films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and starred as the lead actress in them. In addition, she appeared in the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson was born on January 8, 1977 in Birmingham Alabama, daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson psychiatrist. Benson has a younger sister Danielle Benson, who is an artist. Benson was brought up in a Reform synagogue in the name of her Reform Jewish mother and Jewish father. Benson's acting career continues to grow since the end of Buffy. She was in films like The Killing Jar, and shows such as Morganville The Series. Her talents as a writer are utilized on Ghosts of Albion, and she was the director of Drones (2010). Buffy says that she has discovered and counted over 1800 Slayers with 500 who work with members of the Scooby Gang. Slayers may be awakened as they reach the right maturity. Soledad, for example was awakened when she turned sixteen. Ruth Connell has been cast as Rowena for Season 10 Supernatural. The character is said to be a mysterious, old-school Witch.
